SODEV Consult International Limited, having its beginning in 1989, is registered with ADB (DACON No-002189). Over the last 26 years, it gathered experience in a number of fields, working in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Pakistan, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic and Nepal. With this, its contribution to the development of Asia through provision of consulting services is believed to have been substantial. Combining experience with quality, it emerged as an outstanding consulting firm in the Asian region. SODEV head office in Dhaka has a core team of marketing and project management specialists. SODEV has a large network of closely associated consultants with whom SODEV works on a regular basis, and a resource base of over 5,000 specialists in a wide range of disciplines. In addition, SODEV maintains a retinue of highly qualified consultants from professional institutions.
SODEV has established excellent systems to ensure each team is compatible both in qualifications/experience and personality. Our project management unit works to ensure that systems are in place for effective communication between everyone involved in the project. We also have in house and associate consultant who can easily be called upon to provide technical backstopping to a team or team member and to check the quality of output. Project Director and the team constantly review the TOR, implementation schedule, and staffing schedule and monitor the work-in-progress and ensure quality of the project.
SODEV has sound financial resources for continuous and effective project implementation without relying on staggered release of funds by clients. The project management system at our head office includes a detailed project accounting system to manage both project funds and payment of fees, per diems, and project implementation costs. The financial management system is designed to meet the specific requirements of the each project and facilitates efficient invoicing, expenditure monitoring, and financial reporting as required by clients. Our external auditor and internal project audits confirm that our financial management systems meet the highest professional standards. Thus, internal audit procedures are designed as part of our quality assurance (QA) system.
